What Is Weak Chin?

A weak chin refers to a lower jaw bone that is either less developed (a congenital defect) or pushed back i.e. chin recession, creating a chin or jawline that look like it leans inward toward the body.

A weak chin is less pronounced, and it can create an unbalanced facial appearance. Besides the appearance of a perfectly balanced and chiseled facial profile, chin augmentation can be done to play down the appearance of a double chin. That super-frustrating pocket of fat that hangs below the chin can be concealed by creating more projection, definition and balance to the face via chin augmentation.

What You Need To Know!

If you feel uncomfortable about your weak chin and would like to consider undergoing a procedure to enlarge it, there are non-invasive options such as injectable fillers that can be injected into the chin to provide temporary augmentation.

You absolutely have options when it comes to non-surgical procedures for chin enhancement to treat a recessive chin. You don't have to undergo surgical chin implantation anymore to achieve the results you want.
